A Review The Range Of Great Playstation 3 Exclusives

The videogame industry, as with any other industry, is ahighly competitive arena. High profile machines and producers are continually struggling to push theirown goods and propel their products in front of the competition. One way to forge ahead in this sense is by securing exclusive products which arenot released on other consoles. These games are frequently so sought after that in some extreme cases gamers may purchase a console solely to play a particular game. Some Playstation 3 exclusives have just that ability.
It’s true to claim that Playstation 3 exclusives have suffered a little late ly. Their competitors, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, havesuccessfully grabbed some Playstation exclusives from Sony and earned the legal right to host them on their own console too. The widely known case here is Final Fantasy XIII, which both overjoyed Xbox fans but seriously annoyed Playstation owners. More have passed before too, including Tekken 6 and Tomb Raider Underworld to name a few.
But PS game players shouldn’t be too annoyed, they’ve still got a bunch of excellent Playstation 3 exclusives to try. Little Big Planet, regardless of being released years ago, remains a massive hit and continues to generate custom through PS Store extras. The Ratchet and Clank franchise is still a much sought after exclusive too, together with Uncharted, which isbeing lauded as one of the best new series in gaming history.
Anticipation is also building for a variety of approaching Playstation 3 Exclusives too. Heavy Rain, the cutting edge new ‘interactive movie’ is exclusive to this console, alongwith lauded RPG White Knight Chronicles. And naturally, we can’t forget the hard hitter himself- Kratos. Yes, God of War 3 returns to our consoles soon- exclusively on Playstation 3.
Lots to get excited about then. Sonystill retains a number of excellent exclusives, and the Playstation 3 is still potentially the most successful and technically proficient next gen console. Playstation 3 Exclusives are employed to reflect the genius and power of the console itself- and few can argue with the results.
