Dish Network Latino Programming

What other country on earth has such a diverse population such as the United States ? Visit a city such as New York and you will encounter a community of almost any country on Earth. If you are Indian you will find your people. If you are Ethiopian you will find your fellow Ethiopians. Should you be a South African national you will definitely find an area populated by South Africans too. All these different nationalities would be interested in getting television programming from their countries, right ?
That is where Dish Network comes into the picture. Dish Network is the second-largest satellite television provider in the United States. They supply digital television to well over 13 million subscribers, and that number is steadily climbing. Dish Network is also the leader when it comes to international programming. Rest assured that no matter what country you come from, you will find programming in your language. It doesn’t matter whether you’re from Iran, where Farsi is spoken, Pakistan, where Urdu is widely spoken, or even Mozambique, where Portuguese is the official language, you will surely find programming that caters to you. I remember watching TV from Mozambique whilst I was in Los Angeles. It was such a relief to be able to watch television in a language other than the one you are used to hearing all the time.
Spanish speakers are by far the largest group of immigrants to the United States. Go to cities such as Los Angeles and New York and you will realize their numbers. This alone is definitely a profitable market for satellite television companies such as Dish Network. Because of this an all-latino programming package was conceived. It is known simply as Dish Latino.
Dish Latino comes in 3 different packages. There is the most basic, all-Spanish one, Dish Latino. Next you have one that also has a mixture of English and Spanish programming. This one is aptly named Dish LATINO Dos (Dish Latino Two). One can get up to 200 channels with this package. Dish Latino Dos is suited for bilingual Hispanics, especially those who were born in the United States. Lastly there is Dish Latino Max, which comprises all the channels found in the first two packages, making it the most comprehensive of the three.
Spanish-language programming isn’t the only non-English programming offered by Dish Network of course. As mentioned above, you can find channels in almost any language spoken across the globe. Dish Network is also the only provider to offer Thuan Viet, a channel catered exclusively to Vietnamese-Americans.
